   It was a walk down memory lane when life had a lot less influence…

   I was born and raised in North Carolina, so I have lived through many a hurricane.

   The worst one was Hurricane Floyd, which flooded and devastated my hometown in 1999. The Marines came, as well as the President, the whole nine yards.
