So many people are living in fear currently.
FEAR = False Evidence Appearing Real.
It is time we refocus ourselves, paying attention to trust. I have created an acronym for trust that I think will help.
TRUST = Totally Releasing Unnecessary Scary Thoughts.
In this moment, are you safe? If so, then that is where you focus, because all any of us have is this moment. Recall or imagine a safe place. Notice the colors, the textures, the designs of this place. Notice the temperature, the aromas and the sweet sounds of serenity and calm. Allow this place to become real. Notice how in this place, in this moment, you are safe and secure and serene.
Notice how the body feels when this is your truth. Allow your mind to wander to a concern and wonder how it might be if that concern were behind you. How would you feel if you were free of that worry, if you had a solution to that puzzle?
I wonder if the waiting for the other shoe to drop is more what creates discomfort within you than the reality of the situation. All too often, after a “crisis” is over we realize that fear was in our heads, not our circumstances.
Allow your mind to drift past the event you have been concerned about and notice the outcome. What steps might you have taken to get to the desired outcome? What are the keys to your success?
Perhaps it starts with T.R.U.S.T.
I like this post. Please post some more. I’m a little afeared at the moment and I trust that you can help.
Not kidding around either.

I’m with Ken a lot concerned and it is hard to get by it..and yes trust is the reason what is one that we should feel secure about regarding the economy? Every day is doom and gloom and it’s even depressing me.
Great post…

@ Ken
I will post more suggestions. I am giving a series of classes right now that are so full, I am looking for a larger venue. The subject matter is this very same one. So many people are feeling fear, fear of the unknown.
I know you are an amazing person and I have every reason to believe you will always be safe! You know how to make life’s adventures into something great. Just keep up your creative attitude!
@ Dorothy,
you are a strong woman who has looked illness and death in the eyes and beaten them back. This current economy is nothing compared to that. Using the same determination, you will create your own personal economy of abundance. That in turn will affect those who surround you.
Hey BlogMama,
I hope and trust you are well. I came by today simply because I was thinking about. This post was just an added bonus – as someone who appears to be developing a fear of flying as I age – well, this was relevant. Life is well for me and I sincerely hope you can say the same. All the best! CHEERS!
Debbie,
Thanks for always encouraging us and uplifting our spirits.
Thanks for believing in us.
We really need a person like you.
@ Allure,
thank you for the kind words. I know that you have shown great courage in the face of adversity in the past. Perhaps that is a lesson for us all.
@ Canucklehead,
Fear of flying can limit you from living freely. Whether for business or pleasure, flying is such a part of modern day life. Darling Bloggerson, you know how to reach me off blog, I offer assistance to you. Of course, you might have to fly down here to get it1 (wink)
I was serious – however, my fear is not to severe as of yet and I assume it will not continue to get worse. Just because I went from no fear to a little, does not mean it will grow to a lot. In fact, knowing how silly the fear is encourages me that it will in fact at some point reverse. Thanks Ma – but I’ll be okay.
I trust. I do.
But I’m afraid I still can’t understand Canucklehead.
Picturing you in front of a HUGE audience, helping all to release their false fears.
@ darling maxie,
thank you for the visualizing! There is the law of agreement, so you are helping me grow as well.
I know you trust, I know you have an amazing ability to create!
thanks for stopping by. 🙂
My theory is that fear of flying grows in direct proportion the more that you feel you have to lose.
The fact that Linc is more nervous now means that he values his life so much more.
